旧暦の亥の刻に無病息災、子孫繁栄を願いいただく、日本古来より伝わるお菓子です。ニッキ風味のやわらかな求肥餅で栗、銀杏、胡桃が入ったこし餡を包んでいます。地域や作り手によって様々な解釈で作られているようです。
